Frequently asked questions
What estate planning documents can you notarize?
We provide notary services for wills and estate planning packages, trusts, trust amendments, powers of attorney, advance directives, living wills, affidavits, deeds, beneficiary-related documents, trustee documents, and other documents requiring notarization.
Can you notarize an entire will and trust package?
Yes. We can handle the required notarizations within an estate planning package containing multiple documents. Because every package is different, we recommend letting us know what documents you have when scheduling your appointment.
What identification do I need for my appointment?
Please have an acceptable form of identification available for the notarization. Contact us before your appointment if you have questions about your identification or do not have standard government-issued identification.
Do you provide mobile notary services?
Yes. Mobile appointments are available at homes, attorney offices, hospitals, assisted living communities, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, hospice locations, and other agreed-upon locations.
Can you explain my will or trust documents to me?
No. A notary verifies identity and performs authorized notarial acts but does not provide legal advice or explain what legal provisions mean. Questions about your will, trust, power of attorney, or other estate planning documents should be directed to your attorney or document preparer.
